  2. Andy Crouch: Culture-Making, Rescheduled
Due to an injury, Culture-Making talk will be rescheduled. This time with Andy will be another great step in SCC's "Culture-Making" dialogue. Read the opening chapters of Andy's new book here.
  3. New Sunday Morning Bible Study Class: John 5-8: The Stakes Are Raised
Kevin Peet is teaching a ten-week course on these chapters from John. (Downstairs EOC Room, 9:00 a.m.). Beginning with a healing and ending with a huge conflict, these four chapters of the Gospel according to John are dramatic, pivotal, compelling, and rich, rich, rich with truth about Jesus. Come join us as we observe and explore, so that we can love Him and trust Him more.
  4. SCC on KFAX (AM1100), Sundays at 3:30pm
Thanks to the help of an anonymous donor, SCC messages are now on KFAX, Sundays at 3:30pm. KFAX has a good percentage of listeners who have no church home and many who are not followers of Christ. Pray that God would use this to draw people to himself.

  8. New Online Church Community Builder
We are very excited to announce that Solano Community Church is in the process of setting up our new online church database system. The Church Community Builder (CCB) web application will help us streamline our ministries, communicate better, plan events, and get to know each other.

You will likely be receiving an email from the system in the near future with a login and password, or an invitation to join. Please take the opportunity to login and explore. You can get started by entering your information and uploading a picture! Please note that this system is completely private to the SCC family and that you can chose to limit your information distribution as much as you like. We look forward to discovering all the ways this tool well help build our church community. If you have any questions, please contact Dave Monk.

  9. New Spiritual Growth Website!
We've launched a new website entirely devoted to discipleship and spiritual growth. You can take a personal discipleship survey that helps you uncover areas of your walk with God that may need more attention. The site also has resources to help you develop a plan to grow in your areas of weakness. Check it out at opiso.org.
  10. SCC and Green Business Program
SCC was recently certified by Alameda County as a "Green Church." Part of the effort resulted in the Albany Community Center becoming certified as well. We're excited to add the care of creation to one of the ways we're striving to honor Christ. Click here to see!
