Our Staff
Pastor - Andrew HoffmanPastor Hoffman and his wife Jodie live in Albany, CA with their four kids, one dog and four guppies. His heart’s desire in ministry is to help others find and follow Christ. When not serving the church, he enjoys spending time with family, playing basketball and cycling with friends. Prior to founding Solano Community Church, Andrew served churches in Hershey, PA and Oakland, CA. He holds degrees in Literature and Music from UC Santa Barbara, and Divinity (M.Div) and New Testament (M.A.) from Trinity International University.
Congregational Care Director – Peter KonzPeter has a strong passion for caring for others and a desire to work with the church community to assist them in moving towards health and Christ-likeness. Peter has many years of experience as a Spiritual Director and a Stephen Minister through Stephen Ministry, a lay caring ministry program. He holds a Masters of Arts in Theology with an emphasis in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in ministry at San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Children's Ministry Director – Nicole CorbittNicole has worked for many years in youth ministry programs, and her experience includes Children's Ministry Coordinator, Youth Ministry Leader, Sunday School teacher, and mentor. She is wonderful with the children, and has a passion for working with kids. Nicole holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of San Diego, and currently resides in Emeryville.
Worship Leader Intern – Clark AbbottClark recently came on board as our Worship Leader Intern. A long time Bay Area resident, Clark grew up in the East Bay and went on to study American Studies at UC Berkeley, and graduated in 2009. He has been playing guitar for eleven years, and has played with a number of bands having anywhere from three members to forty members. Clark also teaches guitar lessons at Danville Music in Danville. He is currently living in El Sobrante.
Ministry Intern – Andrew FranklinWe are excited to bring Andrew Franklin on as SCC's new ministry intern. His focus will be on students and compassion ministries. Andrew is a graduate of Westmont College, and is currently living in El Sobrante.
Administrative Assistant - Sara TaranoSara has been a member of Solano Community Church since 2005, and has been serving as the church administrative assistant since May 2008. She moved to the East Bay from the Napa Valley in 2004 to pursue a B.A. Degree at UC Berkeley, which she completed in 2006. Sara and her daughter currently live in Point Richmond.
